Various Finishes With Excellent Solderabilty and Corrosion Resistance

Solderability is excellent with tin, and corrosion resistance is good. Tin makes an excellent anti-galling and anti-seizing wear surface. It also offers tarnish resistance. If a bright finish is desired, specify the bright acid tin process. Plated tin processes can achieve greater thickness than with fused tin. Tin is soft and very ductile, and color can range from matte grey to very bright.
